Sorry but we don’t stock the straight pull spokes used by many factory built wheels.
Recent work includes:
Spoke replacement on a Zipp 404, new bearings in a Powertap rear hub and rim replacement for a worn H plus Son Archetype wheel.
Re-rimming some worn Easton alloy wheels with 50mm depth carbon rims. Luckily the hubs took traditional ‘J’ bend spokes and we could give the really good hubs a new lease of life.
Changing the bearings on 3 sets of Fulcrum wheels for a single customer. All were less than 12 months old and it turned out that the customer was a bit keen with a pressure washer! This is the worst thing for sealed hub bearings, especially if the wheels are then put in the shed for a few weeks for the rust to really set in.
Rebuilding 2 Ritchie (Novatec) hubs which had worn bearings and freehub. We stock the bearings and luckily had the correct Shimano freehub available left over from a customer who had specified a Campagnolo item.
Sourcing new rims for Xerolite 16/20 spoke wheelset and rebuilding using original bladed spokes. The Xero wheel importer had gone out of business and couldn’t supply any rims. After detailled measurement we concluded that the Xero rims were actually made by Kinlin and were the same as their XR300. A supplier in Taiwan was asked to source the 16 hole rim which isn’t available in Europe. 3 weeks later the rims arrived and the wheels rebuilt for the customer.
